Starting point is from Tonni, take path 100 that enters the woods until you get to the marble caves where there is a nice view of the Castle of Montarrenti. Cross the road and continue on path 100 to the hermitage of Santa Lucia and the little bridge Ponte della Pia. Here go along road SP 73 for 1600 meters and take the track on the left that goes to Podere Meletro. Take the dirt road to the farmhouse Reniere and the little hamlet of Borgo Pretale. From there follow the main road until you come to Tonni again.
